Synopsis
Maga—dangerous and powerful creatures resurrected from the corpses of people and animals—are behind mysterious disappearances every day. Humans and the lower-class beastmen who possess both human and animal characteristics reside in the bustling Gokuraku district, where the situation is no different; in fact, it is strangely becoming worse. In the district lies a peculiar office, used by the Gokurakugai Troubleshooter Agency. Cool-headed leader Tao and intuitive young Alma, its only two members, take on any job that requires them to look into private incidents or even track down missing people—if their clients can afford it, that is. But the two hide a secret: their main objective is to investigate the disturbing cases caused by maga and eradicate every single one of them.
