Synopsis

Kang "Max" Donggu is a socially anxious developer who hates working with others. When the beautiful and outgoing Jang "Joy" Chae-rin transfers into his department, Max is quickly overwhelmed by her bright nature. Although he wants to avoid any unnecessary interactions, Max finds himself in a difficult situation after he discovers that Joy is secretly planning to change jobs. Surprisingly, she asks him to start a study group with her, hoping they can cooperate and aim for better jobs. While reluctant at first, Max eventually agrees as Joy is the only colleague who seems to care about him. Despite her seemingly being his polar opposite, Max gradually begins to enjoy Joy's company. While the quiet and solitary work life he wishes for may never come, a genuine friendship begins to bloom between the pair, which may develop into something more.
